6 mil vapor barrier was the choice of this home owner. 6 mil was installed after all debris was removed from the ground and the water was directed to the sump pump.
attic insuLation
Attic was blown with r-49 with cellulose insulation (an eco friendly fire retardant recycled newspaper material) after all the top plates and plumbing and electrical penetration were sealed with Dow spray foam and added adequate ventilation.
